Influences:
Songwriters. That's where it all starts. You have to frame the lyric or you're just in the way. Some drummer who I think so that so well are Steve Jordan, Steve Gadd, Steve Ferrone, (Anyone named Steve, apparently), Benny Greb, Ash Soan, Kenny Aronoff, JJ Johnson.
We asked...Why Gretsch?:
"Gretsch drums sound and feel like I have always wanted my drums to sound and feel. They give me confidence when I am playing live or in studio that no other drums ever have. The quality, craftsmanship, and sound are truly unmatched. "
Advice to aspiring musicians?:
"Serve the song. Serve the artist. Leave everything better than you found it."
