Bio:
Jake Reed is a professional drummer based in Los Angeles. He has performed/recorded with Katy Perry (“All You Need is Love” single), Tyrese (“Love Transaction”), Artemas (“I Like the Way You Kiss Me”), Khalid (“Heatstroke”), Kait Dunton, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Laufey, Cannons (“Sweeter”), Bruses “La Lista” and “Transplante De Corazon” (2024 Latin Grammy Nominated), Siddhartha “Acapulco” (2024 Latin Grammy Nominated), IDK, Seth MacFarlane, Glen Hansard, Kris Allen, Benny Sings, Logic (aka Peanuts), Matt Forbes, Larry Goldings, Adam Levy, Les McCann, Freda Payne, Mako, Ellis Hall, Tommy Torres, , Grace Kelly, RUEL, Tenroc “Beauty Queen,” Bruce Forman, Cow Bop, Bill Cunliffe, Bob Mintzer, Bill Holman, and Johnny Mandel. He has a BM from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, as well as, an MM and DMA from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, where he was Peter Erskine’s teaching assistant for five years. He endorses Gretsch drums, Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, and Remo drumheads.
