Bio:
From Morro Bay, CA, Greg Garman discovered a passion for drumming at 4 years old. He was heavily influenced by bands like Pantera, Tool, Deftones, and Rage Against the Machine. Determined to learn, He practiced on his mom’s kit until he won a set from the local drum competition. Greg started playing professionally by the 8th grade. He was in rock, blues, and funk bands all throughout high school. He received private instruction from many teachers including his mom, Jim Chapin and Kenny Aronoff.

Greg attended the Musician’s Institute (MI) in Hollywood, CA where he received a Stanley Clark Scholarship and graduated with an Associates Degree of Arts. After school, he became a teacher assistant and started touring with his band at the time. Upon his return to LA, Greg auditioned and got the job playing drums for Selena Gomez and The Scene. Greg has also worked with many inspiring artists including; Anastacia Lyn Newkirk, Christina Grimmie, Megan and Liz, Becky G, Megan Nicole, Greyson Chance, Pentatonix, Cardiknox, MKTO and Filter. He has toured nationally and internationally performing in sold out stadiums, theaters, amphitheaters, arenas, and numerous radio and television shows including performing for President Obama at the Kennedy Center Honors. Greg has been featured on The Drum Chanel, ads in DRUM! and Modern Drummer Magazine.
