Bio:
Christian Finger is an award winning drummer and composer who has played and recorded with some of the world’s most famous musicians.
He has released three solo albums:
1. ”Balance” (2001) featuring Lee Konitz, John Goldsby, Frank Wunsch
2. “Merge Into Beauty” (2006) featuring Rich Perry, Vadim Neselovskyi, Adam Armstrong, Momenta String Quartet.
3. “Ananda-The World Is Bliss” (2014) featuring Jeff Ballard (in a never done before drum duet), Dave Stryker, Zach Brock, Vadim Neselovskyi, Pete McCann, Bobby Harden, Adam Armstrong, Mivos String Quartet.
His resume includes performances, tours and recordings in the US the following musicians: Lee Konitz, Gene Bertoncini, Charlie Hunter, Andy McKee, Davy Mooney, Dan Tepfer, Roni Ben Hur, Nate Radley, Dave Stryker, Cameron Brown, Chihiro Yamanaka, Reuben Wilson, Seleno Clark, Jon Gordon, Stefan Bauer, Bobby Harden, Matt Shulman, Grant Stewart; in Australia with: Mike Nock, Mark Issacs, Matt McMahon; in Germany with: Achim Kaufmann, Claudius Valk, Frank Wunsch, John Goldsby, Gunnar Pluemer, Matthias Nadolny, Gerd Dudeck, Lotte Anker, Hans Wanning, and many more.
Christian runs a recording studio where clients from all over the world can get drum tracks for their music via internet. Holding MA and BA degrees, he also teaches privately at his NY Drum School, has written two drum books and several articles for the famous “Modern Drummer” magazine.
