Bio:
While it’s not typical to call someone a seasoned veteran before they’ve celebrated their 21st birthday, Antoine Fadavi has never been a typical drummer.
After teaching himself to play by watching his heroes on YouTube, Antoine was discovered on the internet and signed to major drum and cymbal companies in his early teens. Later, he was hired to produce a series of videos and appear in advertising for KAT electronic drums. And, by the time he turned 18, Antoine had been featured at international drum festivals and conventions and taken classes at Berklee College Of Music and Musicians Institute.
As soon as he finished high school, Antoine earned a U.S. “Artist” visa and relocated from Paris to Los Angeles. Once in LA, he took a job producing videos and building social media for drum education website, Drum Channel. He also formed his own media/production company, Green Wave Media, and quickly began creating video content for musicians and the music industry.
At the same time, Antoine’s drumming skills presented him with many opportunities to work with other LA- based musicians and music producers. One of these projects led to an audition for singer/songwriter King Princess and, since then, Antoine has been touring and recording almost exclusively with the rising star. He played on King Princess’ debut album, appeared in her videos and performed in front of hundreds of thousands of fans at clubs, theaters and festivals around the world, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, Governor’s Ball, Bonnaroo, Calgary Stampede, MoPop and Life Is Beautiful to name only a few.
In the coming months, Antoine will continue to tour and record with King Princess as he takes on new production and marketing challenges at Drum Channel, Green Wave and any other projects that come up. It may be unusual for most but calling Antoine a seasoned veteran despite his youth is not only highly appropriate, with so much experience already behind him and such a bright future ahead, you can’t really call him anything else.
