We asked...Why Gretsch?:
"The Shells are amazing, and the drums hold tune in many different weather conditions. I also love the die cast hoops that came with the Renown Maple kit. They make it easy to tune quick and fast on the fly if I have to change heads between sets. I play 140 shows a year. A lot of the shows are outside, the drums get a beating and have held up with zero problems at all."

Advice to aspiring musicians?:
"Have fun! Music is an amazing outlet to express how we feel inside and out. Drums have allowed me to not just express myself but I also found a way to make it a job and it gets hard, but I love the job and I love music. Do not let anyone tell you cannot do this."
