Bio:
Matt Sorum is an American drummer and percussionist. He is best known as both a former member of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he recorded two studio albums, Use Your Illusion 1 &smp; 2 and Spaghetti Incident. He was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame with Guns n Roses in 2012.
Matt was also a member of supergroup Velvet Revolver earning Sorum three Grammy nominations and one win with their hit Slither. Sorum has a Billboard , two MTV award and one American Music Award.
Sorum is currently a member of his touring project, Kings of Chaos with Billy Gibbons and Robin Zander among others as well as Supergroup Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper , Joe Perry and Johnny Depp , Matt did two stints with The Cult. He also did one tour with Motorhead . Sorum was a member of Guns N' Roses side-projects, Slash's Snakepit and Neurotic Outsiders, and released a solo album, Hollywood Zen, in 2004 and Matt Sorum's Fierce Joy entitled Stratosphere in 2014. Matt is very active with his charity Adopt the Arts to keep music in public schools.
