We asked...Why Gretsch?:
Gretsch is more than a drum company to me it’s a legacy of craftsmanship, character, and timeless sound. Every time I sit behind a Gretsch kit, I feel like I’m playing drums that are built in excellence.

Those SNARES!! The USA Bronze 14x5½ is so juicy! It makes me feel like I just got the best hug in the world from my grandmother. The warmth, the punch, the crack, the tone, and the range. All the characteristics I’m looking for, I’ve found with Gretsch.

Gretsch gives me the sound, feel, and confidence to be myself behind the kit. I’m proud to be part of the Gretsch family and excited to carry that legacy forward in my own way.

Advice to aspiring musicians?:
I always say “Take care of what takes care of you" and I live it!

That’s the foundation. Your talent, your relationships, your reputation, your opportunities, your instrument, your body, your people. All of it.

Talent gets you noticed.
Character gets you remembered.
Kindness gets people to root for you.
And consistency makes them trust you.

Take your craft seriously. Practice!!! Put that time in and prepare for what you want and apply that to your life over and over and over again.
