We asked...Why Gretsch?:
"When I was a kid growing up playing drums, the first name I ever noticed on a kit was Gretsch, and the drummer was Brad Wilk. When I looked into the company, I realized that they had been making drums since the late 1800s, and I was convinced there would be no better brand on the market. When we recorded our first record, I used an old round badge and fell in love. Since that day all I wanted to do was have a Gretsch kit of my own."
Advice to aspiring musicians?:
"The Ghosts Among Us, We Will All Evolve, Age Of Ignorance, Oak Island, Younger Dreams, Selective Hearing (Our Last Night) Americoustic- Hoodie Allen"
Bio:
I am a studio/touring drummer with the band Our Last Night. I got my first drum kit on my 10th birthday, and the rest is history. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion. I started playing covers of old rock songs with my friends in garages and realized that this was something I really loved. Playing drums is something I learned very early on would bring me more personal joy than any of my other interests. It was made me, me. All I wanted to do was play. I feel extremely grateful to still be able to play today. I have been with Our Last Night for 13 years, as well as working on other sessions and studio projects.
