Bio:
I am a professional drummer from Europe, based in Belgrade, Serbia.
In 2007 I was the drummer for the Eurovision Song Contest winning band, led by singer/songwriter Marija Serifovic. The band garnered extensive media attention, toured Europe numerous times in the following 5 years, doing TV appearances and playing to sold our crowds across the continent.
I am currently a member of the seminal band Piloti, with whom I regularly tour Europe as well as North America (USA and Canada) and legendary Bosnian band Valentino.
I am a first call session and festival drummer in Serbia and the region, supporting artists from the USA (Lance Lopez), Germany (Blues Company, Zed Mitchell), Australia (Diva Demolition), UK (Mick Clarke, Todd Sharpville) and many others.
When not touring with a band, I’m involved in clinics and in-store promotions of brands and products that I use.
I am enthusiastic about my gear and love talking about what I use and why I use it. One of the stores I spend a great deal of time at is one of the region’s main Vic Firth, Mapex and Remo dealer.
In addition to my professional music career as a touring drummer/recording artist, I am also an educator.
Besides the above-mentioned clinic work I am also a professor and band director at International School of Belgrade, have an extensive private teaching practice and serve as a mentor to musicians, drum teachers and bands across Europe.
