We asked...Why Gretsch?:
For me, it’s all about sound and feel. I need a drum kit that has character, responds naturally to my playing and can adapt to very different musical situations, from the studio to the biggest stages. The first time I played Gretsch, I immediately felt that connection. The sound is powerful, warm and incredibly musical. It simply feels right. I’m proud to be part of a brand with such an incredible history and to now make That Great Gretsch Sound part of my own musical journey.

Advice to aspiring musicians?:
Never stop learning and always stay curious.
Practice your instrument, develop your own voice and always play for the music, not for yourself. But remember that being a professional musician is about much more than just playing well: be prepared, reliable, respectful and easy to work with.
Talent can open doors, but your attitude, professionalism and passion are what will keep them open.

Bio:
Carmine “B-Dog” Landolfi is an Italian drummer and session musician known for his powerful groove, versatility and musical sensitivity.

Since beginning his professional career in 2011, he has performed and recorded with some of the most prominent artists in the Italian music scene, including Jovanotti, Elodie, Blanco, Geolier, Guè and Club Dogo.
Throughout his career, Carmine has performed on major tours and stages around the world, developing a style that combines energy, precision and a strong sense of groove while always putting the music first.

Alongside his live work, he is also active as a session drummer, bringing the same musical approach and attention to sound into the recording studio.
Whether on stage or in the studio, his philosophy remains the same: serve the music with energy, taste and authenticity.
