Bio:
At just 21 years old, Chicago-born drummer and producer Jake D continues to establish himself as one of the most promising young musicians emerging from today’s modern touring and session scene. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Jake has officially secured the role of touring drummer for rising country artist Sadie Bass as rehearsals begin for an extensive multi-state 2026 tour schedule.

Jake’s musical journey began at the age of three, when his passion for drums first became evident. Nearly two decades later, that same passion, combined with relentless dedication, discipline, and education, has helped forge a professional career that continues to gain momentum on a national level.

Currently pursuing an Audio Engineering Technology degree at Belmont University, Jake was also recognized on the Fall 2025 Dean’s List while balancing the demands of higher education and a rapidly expanding touring schedule.

Over the years, Jake has studied with some of the industry’s most respected drummers and educators including Hannah Welton, Paul Wertico, Stanton Moore, and Jason Bittner. That exposure and commitment to growth quickly placed Jake on the radar of several major drum and percussion manufacturers and artist relations representatives throughout the music industry.

In 2019, Jake was invited to open the prestigious Chicago Drum Show as a featured clinician — becoming one of the youngest clinicians in the show’s long-standing history.

Jake’s professional touring résumé continues to expand. In 2024, he completed a national tour alongside Chicago singer-songwriter Adan Diaz, culminating with an appearance at Lollapalooza in August 2024. The momentum carried into Fall 2025 with another national tour spanning 18 states.

With national touring experience, industry endorsements, collegiate audio engineering studies, and a growing reputation among artists and manufacturers alike, Jake D continues to prove that hard work and authenticity remain the foundation of a lasting music career.
