We asked...Why Gretsch?:

"For me, these things all come down to trust. Over the years, I’ve watched and heard some of my favourite players putting their trust in Gretsch drums, and, out of all the kits I’ve played and owned throughout my career, the Gretsch drums have always sat on top of the pile when it comes to consistency of sound, build quality and outstanding beauty. The craftsmanship is impeccable and that translates into a really gratifying experience every time I use them - and those favourite players of mine can’t have been wrong across all those years. That’s how you build trust in your equipment."

Advice to Aspiring Musicians:

In music, as in life, you never stop learning. Open your ears, open your mind and soak in as much as you can. Take advice humbly; be practised; be adaptable; aim to be the best you can be, and let these things come over time through experience. So get up and do it, whatever it is, action is best. Learn that song, start that band. What better way can we spend our lives, indulging a passion as a job.
