New for Summer 07, Gretsch Drums proudly introduces the Renown Maple “Mod” 4-piece drum set (RN-M024-VGBS) in a contemporary Vintage Glass Black Stripe finish. This drum set is a special edition Renown shell pack and will be offered with very limited availability. Featuring an extended sized 20”x22” bass drum, 9”x12” mounted tom, 16”x16” floor tom and 6.5”x14” snare drum, this kit is designed to inspire the best performances by the serious contemporary drummer.
Renown series drums feature Gretsch-formula 6-ply USA Rock Maple shells, which are modeled after the company’s legendary USA Custom shells. They include 30-degree bearing edges, die-cast hoops and Silver Sealer shell interiors. The result is “That Great Gretsch Sound” producing excellent attack, punch and volume.
The glass glitter finish creates a dazzling visual effect by infusing tiny bits of actual glass into the wrap. The Black stripe pattern is transparent, allowing the glass sparkle to shine from underneath. The result is a visually unique, one-of-a-kind drum set.
Additional features include low-mass GTS suspension system, telescoping bass drum spurs, securely hinged GS-9025 tom bracket and 100% Maple hoops with natural interior finish and Vintage Glass inlay.
